No, But Prenata can supply a complete validated clinical workflow supporting Prenatal cfDNA applications such as NIPT. This workflow includes collection tube, extraction kit, NGS library prep and proprietary analysis software.

Is the Prenata NIPT test CE-IVD marked?

No, individual components within the workflow may be CE-IVDR marked as required but the workflow if used within a laboratory will be a 'lab developed test' (LDT)

What is Prenata able to supply to support NIPT testing?

Prenata have developed through more than 10 years of experience a complete clinically validated workflow of components that together could be combined as a 'lab developed test' for NIPT enabling laboratories to source a complete workflow of products from a single supplier and enabling confident local implementation and lower cost testing.

How long is the blood stable for in the Prenata Preserver tubes?

15 working days, although for the best results we recommend testing within 10 working days of blood draw

What temperatures is the blood stable at in the Prenata Preserver tubes?
​
We recommend storage at a constant temperature or as close to as possible and in the range of +5 to +35 degrees centigrade. For optimal results +15 to +25 degrees centigrade is best.​
